Bright town on the oriental hills of Tuscany, Arezzo has a very anciert origin. It was one of the Etruscan locumanias, and it becamne roman town of strategic importance. It was the centre of blossoming economic activities and rich of valvable monuments amonpst which we remember the Roman Anfitheatre with its considerable remains.

Arezzo is buit on a hill on the borders of the Arno Valley. On the top there are the Cathedral, the Comunal Palace and Fortezza Medicea. From these like in a fan’s shape, run mayor  roads tawards the lower end of the town it self. Amongst the many events we remember the most important: the antiques pair and the Giostra del Saracino

The Giostra del Saracino is ran in Arezzo since 1931, and it Takes place in the Piazza Grande on the third saturday night of June and the first Sunday of September, during the day. In the Giostra the 4 districts of the area challenge each other: Porta del Foro, Porta Crucifera, Porta S.Andrea e Porta S.Spirito.
